Gratis7 Media Group
I made gratis7mediagroup.org! They are a non-profit "community of pastors and filmmakers who believe media and film are a critical element in reaching today’s culture." Learn more about their organization [here]. And you can read the article on me as a "Featured Filmaker" [here].
Zacuto's Z-Finder & DSLR Rapid Fire (a.k.a. I Made Zacuto!)
I made zacuto's website! I bought their Z-finder and have had nothing but great times with it. I wish I had this for the Mattie film as it would of helped in focusing and framing. The Zacuto viewfinder can be ordered [here] and a great review (better than i could give) can be found [here] on Philip Bloom's Website.
This is a cool piece of equipment. Scot sent a link from film tools to this to me and for about $80 you can get a small car mount or window mount..
Shot with the 7D and 5Dmk2. No sony EX1 this time! I love it. I shot the 7D in the 60P mode then changed the meta data to play it back at 24P. It then plays back Over cranked! You know I love the over crank.
Mike, the director of Mattie, talks about the new technologies that we are using for the film Mattie. We are currently shooting the film on the Canon 5D Mark ii. The 5D now has manual controls, thanks to Canon's update, and has a great look with low light rooms. Check out the video and what Mike says about the Lite Panels new color temperature changing panel.
Day 2 of production with the film Mattie Springer, Directed by Michael Dohrmann. Here I talk about what kind of gear we use for our camera system and you'll get to see some shots of the film as well. Due out next year some time. See more at wamtech.
Get ready for a behind the scenes look at a feature film being made with the Canon 5D M2! We are starting production on the 1st and I hope to bring more videos like this (with a little more substance) showing our production and work flow.
